  7. John C. Braddock was elected as Precinct Secretary and Mathematician for District 100, Precinct 3340, in Dallas, Texas during the 2008 Democratic Presidential Primary. Linked below is a PDF copy of the spreadsheet Mr. Braddock developed. It determined Barack Obama as the winner, which allowed primary results in Precinct 3340 to be calculated in approximately 10 minutes, versus hours of hand calculations at other Texas precincts.
